Outcomes:

  • Participants will gain an understanding of the North Carolina Educator Evaluation System (NCEES) including the N.C. Professional Teaching Standards and the Teacher Evaluation Process.
  • Partcipants will develop a basic understanding of the NCEES Rating system.
  • Participants will engage with the standards and describe what the elements "look like" in an observation.
  • Participants will gain a better understanding about Standards 6 & 8.
  • Participants will have an oportunity to explore the online tool demo site.
